Feb. 12, 2010 (China Knowledge) - Tianjian, one of China's four municipalities, plans to sell 23 pieces of land this year, according to the Tianjin Land Exchange Center.
The 23 pieces of land have a combined area of 323 hectares and will have a total floor area of 7.21 million square meters.
The residential plots have a combined area of 249 hectares and account for 77% of the total. Floor area for residential properties will be 5.09 million sq m and account for 70% of the total. The commercial parcels' land area totals 74 hectares and their combined floor area will amount to 2.12 million sq m.
Twelve of the 23 pieces of land area are located in the city's six major districts. Tianjin sold 24 plots in the six districts in 2009.
One of the 23 parcels, one located in Nankai District, has an area of 9.8 hectares and will have a floor area ratio of 3.5. Another plot, a mixed-use plot located on Dongting Road, in Hexi District, will comprise apartments with a floor area ratio of 2.2 and stores with a floor area ratio of 2.5.
