With Women's Day being an important highlight of this month, our edition is an ode to women from all walks of life and bestows on them the glory that they deserve.
Our Cover Story goes to a female writer. We have a tete-a-tete with Zhang Lijia, the author of Lotus, a woman-centric novel about a sex worker who struggles with reality on one side and her ambitions on the other. Zhang provided us with sufficient insight as regards what inspired her to come up with the idea and how she copes with English as a second language. We hope that her insight into hurdles faced by the Chinese while writing in English will help others who might be facing the same problem.
We continue the bid to spread understanding and unraveling the millennial generation in our Feature Story. On a much lighter note, we also decided to explore the excitement of Great Leap Brewing craft-beer festival under Beijing Beats.
