The Chinese characters making up the name Shang Fu mean "good luck" and "happiness", respectively. The interior marries traditional and contemporary furnishings, featuring pseudo-imperial decor complemented by shades of brown and gold, and the crystal chandelier on the ceiling portrays classic beauty.
Shang Fu is located on the first floor of the hotel, easily accessible from the free parking lot. Executive Chinese Chef Oliver Lai is from Hong Kong. Throughout his 35-year career, he has worked at various Shangri-La hotels, including those in Indonesia, the Philippines and mainland China.

Chef Zhang has been in the industry for more than 20 years and is a maestro in duck roasting. He uses the finest-quality farmed duck, hung-grilled and roasted over jujube wood to produce a thick, crispy, melt-in-your-mouth experience. Roasting the Peking duck takes approximately 70 minutes.
