Shangri-La Hotel, Tianjin offers its second 'Little Hotelier for a Day' programme on 11 June 2017 to coincide with the fervour surrounding Children's Day on 1 June 2017. The programme gives children an insight into the daily activities of a hotel colleague through unique role-playing experiences and is designed to enhance their thinking skills.
Shangri-La Hotel, Tianjin offers various child-friendly lifestyle educational experiences through such programmes as 'Little Hat, Big Hat', 'CEO for a Day' and 'Little Hotelier', enriching experiences and out-of-school learning.
The 'Little Hotelier for a Day' programme on 11 June 2017 involves a hotel orientation, fun work-related games, cupcake decorating, Horizon Lounge experiences, a guestroom tour and an introduction to wellness, followed by a fun Zumba class and hands-on firefighting and awareness training. These activities are designed to help develop independence, communication and teamwork.
For example, the hands-on training, such as cupcake decorating, is expected to stimulate creativity. In the fire awareness and prevention and evacuation sessions, the children will experience using a fire extinguisher. They also have fun learning how to exercise and relax through Zumba.
