This should be clear, but you should not be hiring someone in your company because they’re your friend. A candidate needs professional skills more than the charming personality at the work place. So resist that enticement to hire someone because you just like their charm and you feel that it will be fun to have them around in the office. Focus on details, not quick and clever responses.
