Accomplished hotelier, Mr. Radek Cais, has joined The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin in the role of General Manager, bringing vast hotel industry experience specifically in the luxury space to this iconic Tianjin property.

A Canadian national with Bohemian origins, Mr. Cais holds a Cornell University Masters Certificate in Hospitality Management. Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton Group, Mr. Cais worked for the Brussel based Rezidor Hotel Company for 16 years.
In 2012, Mr. Cais joined The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal as Hotel Manager. The property resembling Venetian palaces opened to great reviews and was awarded the “Best New Business Hotel in the World 2014” by Business Traveler US.
Mr. Cais was promoted to General Manager in charge of the pre-opening of The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo in 2014. Under his leadership, the hotel achieved a first place RGI ranking in Cairo after just one year, additionally the property was successful positioned as the premiere venue in Cairo for luxury weddings.
Prior to The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin, Mr. Cais worked in Shanghai as General Manager & Managing Director of East China at the luxury Wanda Reign on the Bund, in addition overseeing 15 other hotels.
