Partnership with the eminent storytelling company introduces a new PAPINEE Animal character inspired by St. Regis through a host of family programs
The St. Regis Tianjin has launched collaboration with PAPINEE, the storytelling company that empowers adults, educators and storytellers to take children on educational and inspiring magical adventures all around the world.
Through this collaboration, The St. Regis Tianjin hopes to further engage its younger guests with a new range of tailored activities, adding to the hotel’s child-friendly offerings under the Family Traditions at St. Regis program.
As part of the partnership, a charming new PAPINEE character inspired by the history of St. Regis, Jak the Deer, is the focal point of the PAPINEE partnership at The St. Regis Tianjin. Jak – full name Jak Odocoileus V – is a friendly four-legged Deer brought up in New York City, and has been surrounded by the glamorous people at his family’s headquarters at The St. Regis Hotel in New York. Jak is said to be named after John Jacob Astor IV, the wealthy New York real estate visionary who opened the original St. Regis Hotel in 1904.
Family Traditions at The St. Regis offers distinctive destination-inspired activities to encourage and celebrate the art of play, and our collaboration with PAPINEE gives families the opportunity to create their own imaginative stories and create lifelong memories.
The PAPINEE Storytelling Kit sees Jak brought to life through the charming plush toy, a delightful storytelling and activity book. Keepsakes that feature Jak include a children’s backpack, a coin pouch, aNYC bandana and hang tag.
To celebrate Jak and the partnership with PAPINEE, The St. Regis Tianjin has created a number of exclusive experiences and promotions for families, including a special ‘Jak-inspired’ Gourmet Tour Buffet with PAPINEE at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Promenade, “PAPINEE Theme Room” accommodation package, and PAPINEE Gift Store.
