Tianjin-based Okay Airways, suspended passenger service 10 days earlier than planned on 6 December amid financial and management difficulties, Aero-News reported. At the Tianjin Binhai International Airport, OK Air's 12 passenger routes from the airport had been suspended. Wang Junjin, chairman of both Junyao and Okay, has been named as Okay's president, replacing Liu Jieyin. Okay flights were planned to resume in mid-January, in time for the peak travel period associated with the Spring Festival.
