The death was the 44th confirmed case, male, 75 years old. The patient was admitted on February 2 with 30 years of hypertension, 10 years of cerebral infarction, 18 years of diabetes, and a right nephrectomy for right kidney cancer in March 2012.
On February 10, under mechanical ventilation, the sudden heart rate slowed down to 30 beats per minute at 19:40, and the blood oxygen saturation decreased to 75%. The hospital immediately adopted emergency rescue measures such as electrical defibrillation, chest compressions, and the use of booster drugs.
However, the patient's heart rate still gradually decreased, the ECG showed a straight line, the blood oxygen saturation was 0%, and the rescue was invalid at 20:33 on February 10, and clinical death was announced. The cause of death was cardiac arrest.
As of February 12 Tianjin has confirmed total 107 cases of coronavirus-related pneumonia.
The 105th patient, male, 53 years old, was the brother of the 103rd confirmed case and lived in Xincun Street, Guoyuan, Beichen District, Tianjin. He had no travel or work history in Wuhan.
The 106th patient, female, 27 years old, individual merchant, lived in Wangdingdi, Nankai District, Tianjin, and had no travel or work history in Wuhan.
The 107th patient, male, 49 years old, was the husband of the 93rd confirmed case in our city. He lived in Lintingkou Town, Baodi District, Tianjin, and had no travel or work history in Wuhan.
CORONAVIRUS FEB/12 Signs of optimism Deaths: 1,115 Infected: 45,170
The novel coronavirus outbreak has now killed 1,115 people worldwide, of which all but two were in mainland China. The global number of confirmed coronavirus cases has now reached 45,170.

WHO prediction: The World Health Organization director general said he believes there is a “realistic chance” of stopping the outbreak, but warned that it still posed "a very grave threat."
40 new coronavirus cases on Japan cruise ship
A total of 40 more novel coronavirus cases have been confirmed on the Diamond Princess cruise ship docked at Yokohama port.
This brings the total number of cases from the ship to 175. Four are in a serious condition. Out of 53 new test results [on passengers and crew], 39 people were found positive. Japan extends travel ban to China's Zhejiang province
Japan will extend its travel ban to include Zhejiang province. All foreign nationals from Zhejiang or anyone who has visited it in the past 14 days will be denied entry to Japan.
Hangzhou, Zhejiang's provincial capital, is approximately 750 kilometers from Wuhan, the Hubei capital where the virus began. As of Wednesday, Zhejiang has confirmed 1,131 cases of the novel coronavirus, according to the provincial health body.
