Recently, A Kindergarten in Guangzhou was fined 30,000 RMB by the Huangpu District Branch of the Guangzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau for illegally employing three foreigners.
These three foreigners worked without obtaining work-type residence permits and work permits.
According to China's Exit and Entry Administration Law, such conduct constitutes illegal employment. Those who unlawfully hire foreigners shall be fined 10,000 RMB for each illegally employed person, with a total amount not exceeding 100,000 RMB. If there is any illegal income, the income shall be confiscated.
In addition, foreigners who have illegal residence or illegal employment may be repatriated.
