China Eastern Airlines will operate three direct flights between Shanghai and Los Angeles per week starting on September 1, the Shanghai-based carrier announced on Wednesday.
 

According to the new schedule, the three flights will be available every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The airline currently operates one weekly flight between the two cities.
 

China Eastern also announced that it will begin operating two weekly flights between Shanghai and New York come Sept 1.
 

东航“上海-洛杉矶”往返航班自9月1日起增至每周3班

东航将于2023年9月1日起加密“上海浦东-洛杉矶”往返航线的航班，频次由当前每周1班往返增至每周3班往返，逢周三、周五、周六执行。
 

东航“上海-洛杉矶”航线去程航班号为MU583，从9月1日开始，北京时间每周六13:05、周三、周五13:10从上海浦东国际机场起飞，当地时间10:05抵达洛杉矶；回程MU586航班于当地时间12:30从洛杉矶起飞，北京时间次日17:10（周六）、17:15（周三、周五）抵达上海浦东国际机场，该航线由波音777-300ER大型宽体客机执行。
