Featuring the delicacies of the Island of Gods, from the 15th of October to the 24th , the colours of The Westin Tianjin will be multicoloured, resembling the natural rainbow of beauty the island offers. The event marks the China Culinary Tour of the three head chefs from the Westin Resort Nua Dua Bali. The tropical tastes of Indonesia can be experienced in the special flavours of the coconut milk, nutmeg and lemongrass that characterize Bali’s cuisine and are prominent specialties of the island. Traditional dishes such as the Green Papaya and Chicken Salad, and the abundance of fresh seafood give the menu the authenticity and peculiarities of Bali.
Nothing but a show of the essences of Bali, a tropical island that due to its localization and natural resources carries an history of occupations and colonization by many nations which reflects not only in its exotic culture but also in its culinary, such as the use of curry introduced by Indians to the island, the presence of rice from China, a touch of the indigenous ingredients and western influences complete the base of their culinary inspirations.
The Westin Tianjin presents its festival “A touch of Bali” with performances and massage shows to relieve the tensions and lighten the souls of the hotel’s guests.
