Recently, taxi companies have informed taxi drivers to obtain the "Tianjin Taxi fuel oil surcharge invoice" as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the notice decal outlining the new charge should be posted in taxis as specified. Most of this work has already been done.
Tianjin Division of Passenger Management Department wishes to remind people that all taxi drivers should receive the invoices from their companies as soon as possible and the that the notice decal should be obviously placed on the taxi.Â
According to the clearly stated regulation, 1 yuan will be paid on every passenger transport taxi transaction beginning June 1, 2011. After June 1, 2011, both the Tianjin taxi invoice & Tianjin taxi fuel oil surcharge invoice should be provided to the passenger by the taxi driver.
