Sponsored by Tianjin’s municipal government and the National Tourism Bureau, China’s 2011 Tourism Industry Expo will be held on 2 September at the Meijiang Exhibition Centre. At most recent count, 310 companies and enterprises have confirmed their attendance with more than 1700 exhibition booths.
Many countries will hold exhibitions including Germany, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
According to executives from the Tianjin Tourism Bureau, 8 pavilions will be featured in the event: tourism facilities and technical products exhibition, Northern China Trade Fair exhibitions, featured Japanese galleries, fine calligraphy and painting galleries, boutiques of fashion tourism, yachts and water facilities showing area, living-service experience area and a tourism equipment and facilities area.
Also, there are several events being held during the time of the Expo, including the 2011 China Tourism photography tournament, the 2nd Tourism Souvenirs award ceremony and the 3rd Luxury tourism fashion show.
Meanwhile, more performances will be presented by the Binhai Aircraft Carrier theme park, Tianjin Polar Ocean World, Fist of Fury, the Chinese Wushu garden and the Xiqing tropical plants garden.
