The reporter learned yesterday from the Binhai Hi-tech Zone that, the signing ceremony of cooperation agreement on the construction of SME Credit System Test Area in the Hi-tech Zone was held recently in Haitai Building.
The 8 pilot commercial banks in Binhai New Area signed an agreement, with eight banks like Bank of China, China Merchants Bank, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, China Minsheng Banking Corp. Ltd., China Bohai Bank, Bank of Tianjin, Bank of Dalian, and Bank of Shanghai becoming the first pilot commercial banks, which will provide small and medium enterprise in the Hi-tech Zone with more convenience achieving the loans by credit, and ease some of the financing problems of SMEs.
The enterprise unsecured loans is an innovative financial service. Earlier this year, Binhai Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone became the first test area in credit system for SMEs in the city. The credit system assesses the credit of enterprises, and gives appropriate credit rating through professional third-party credit rating agencies.
Through the establishment of the credit system, banks and enterprises can solve the problem of unequal information; the enterprise can not only obtain fund support under unguaranteed and unsecured conditions quickly but also rely on their own credit and obtain various subsidies from the government departments and trust from the enterprises.
