On 26th November, the Christmas Bazaar held by the German Embassy in Beijing created a stir amongst foreigners and locals as throngs participated in the event.
For Tianjin expats, Tianjin International Community Center (TICC) organized a bus trip for its expat members to attend to such a wonderful celebration. The event started with choir singing outside the embassy, followed by the official opening of the bazaar, to which booths – all beautifully designed and coloured - offered plenty of choices for participants to buy food, coffee, beer, wine, candles and different kinds of Christmas gifts and decorations. For participants to enjoy delightful snacks while chatting with friends and acquaintances, the bazaar also had a function hall where participants sit and enjoy the lively atmosphere of a fantastic Christmas bazaar.
