Tianjin Development Bureau of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises revealed that Tianjin plans to raise 20 billion RMB financial funds to support the development of SMEs, especially high-tech SMEs.
It is reported that Tianjin will allocate 8 billion RMB financial funds to the working capital fund of government subsidy, construction of SMEs development supporter and award funds for Tianjin district and county projects successfully approved as National Innovation Fund Project; TEDA will invest 3 billion RMB financial funds to support high-tech SMEs in their growing and expanding phases; each district, county and function district will also raise 9 billion RMB to offer the “first pot of gold” ranging from 100,000 to 600,000 RMB to enterprises as free subsidy.
According to the statistics released by Tianjin Development Bureau of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, the number of SME in Tianjin is growing at a high level. By the end of September, the number of high-tech SME has reached 30,000 from former 12,500, accounting for 15% of total number of SME in Tianjin, 6% up, and sales climbing to 1000 billion RMB from 310 billion RMB. Till now, Tianjin has 1,500 high-tech SMEs with cooperate capital exceeding 100 million RMB and 100 SMEs basically qualified to be listed.
In addition to increasing financial support to high-tech SMEs, Tianjin is promoting service platforms construction for SMEs, such as enterprise informationization, science and technology innovation, legal rights, financial innovation and market development.
