Show your knowledge of Beijing and your creative talent! On Saturday 30 June China Inside and Charles Borsboom (professional photographer), will organize especially for Bencham Young professionals this exciting photo game. Teams will travel around the city and with the help of clues find the right location. Make a photo of the location and move on to the next. When your team has found all the locations and made a photo of the spot,, return to the starting point. The team that comes back first will win the first edition of the Beijing Express Photo Game.
You can register as a team or as an individual (We will form teams with the individual participants.).
Each participant, or at least each team should have a (smart) phone or laptop, with a permanent internet-connection, gps-receiver, (or smart phone with this function) and a digital photo-camera.
If every participant brings the equipment mentioned above, the team will have more flexibility. Participants should be able to read coordinates send to you by e-mail and be able to find this point on the city-map.(Some mapping software on your smart phone might be useful)
Part of the assignment s will be sent by e-mail. Also extra clues can be ‘bought’ by e-mail. In general you can use any kind of camera for this activity but since the quality of the photo’s, like composition etc will generate extra points it might be a good idea to bring a 'true' digital camera and not only smart-phones.
Starting point will be the Peanut Café, Zhangzizhonglu 3, Saturday 30 June 10.00. We will start with coffee, tea and give you the final instructions of the game. At this location we will also meet again at the end of the day around 17.00 hours. While you are enjoying a drink, we will beam the different pictures and judge them on location and quality.
Last but not least the prize of the winning team will be a photography workshop with Charles Borsboom.
