Revenue of Tianjin's accommodation & catering industry hits RMB27.3b in H1
The accommodation and catering industry in Tianjin received operating revenue of RMB27.3 billion in the first half of 2012, up 20% year on year.
 

The catering industry in Tianjin maintained robust growth momentum from last year. It received RMB49.5 billion revenue in 2011, up 27.1% year on year, accounting for 14.58% of total retail sales of consumer goods.
 

About 300 well-known restaurants from home and abroad lined up to enter the booming catering market in Tianjin, and original branded restaurants have opened thousands of branch chain stores in Tianjin, accounting for more than 60% of the total restaurant number 10 years ago.
 

Tianjin will see more and more high-end and characteristic hotels with the opening of several branded hotels and clubs.


Tianjin authorities will organize activities and trainings to improve the quality of catering services and popularize the electronic ordering system and elevate the catering industry to a new level.
