On 26th December, 2012, the 2012 Overseas Chinese Business Innovation Week kicked off at Tianjin Binhai New Area. Hundreds of overseas scholars from America, Britain, and France attended the campaign.
Guo Jingping, the deputy head of Binhai New Area, said they welcomed and encouraged overseas scholars and entrepreneurs to start businesses in Binhai New Area. They said they could provide multiple services to help overseas scholars realize their dreams.
Hosted by the Central Committee of the Communist Young League, China's National Youth Administration, and Western Returned Scholars Association, the “Overseas Chinese Business Innovation Week” has been held for 11 years since 2001.
