Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area’s GDP and gross industrial output value are expected to reach 300 billion yuan and 1 trillion yuan respectively in 2015, doubling the figures of 2010. 

 

According to the principal of the TEDA management committee, the GDP in TEDA is expected to hit 250 billion yuan in 2013. 

 

During the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period, TEDA will further push forward the upgrading of its advanced manufacturing industry and realize the “5 100-billion Plans” in the electronic industry, automobile industry, petrochemical industry, equipment industry and food industry. 

 

TEDA plans to cultivate one 200-billion enterprise group, 5 100-billion enterprise groups, 30 10-billion enterprises and 500 one-hundred-million enterprises within 3 to 5 years.
