Snowfall and dense fog have thwarted the travel plans of would-be fliers in Tianjin Binhai Airport, affecting 64 flights. 

 

Altogether 52 flights were delayed and 12 cancelled at Tianjin airport as of 4:40 p.m. on 22nd January, 2013. 

 

Tianjin airport has kicked off disrupted flight protocols and posted a dense fog advisory to remind passengers of the poor weather. 

 

Visibility has dropped to less than 50 meters due to the dense fog since 6:30 a.m. on 22nd January. The visibility reached 600 meters after 10:00 a.m. on 23rd January. Flights finally resumed normal operations after 10:42 a.m.
