Chinese exports rose by more-than-expected in February on strong demand, adding to signs of recovery in the Chinese economy.

Shipments were 21.8% higher than a year earlier, while imports declined 15.2%, resulting in a surprise trade surplus of $15.3bn (£10.2bn), data showed.

But analysts said the figures could be skewed due to Lunar New Year holidays.
