The extension line of Tianjin Metro Line 2 which will connect the airport economic zone to the Tianjin Binhai International Airport is going to be opened in June next year 

 

Covering a total length of 4.48km, the extension line will realize the “zero transit” between the railway and the airport. And it will be able to access the railway station, high-speed rail station, and airport through the Tianjin-Binhai light railway Line 9 and Railway Lines 1, 2 and 3. 

 

At present, 1,985 meters of the shield engineering of the extension line have been completed, 30% of the total length.
