According to the Tianjin Transportation Group, the basic construction of Tongsha Passenger Terminal will be completed on June 25th. Ongoing at the moment is the installing and debugging of fare collection, the passenger information display system, safety monitoring system and other equipment. The terminal is expected to be opened to the public soon.

Located in the square behind Tianjin Station, Tongsha Passenger Terminal is the central bus station for inter-city services. and covers a total area of 19176 square meters. It consists of two buildings. The first is 4-layer A building, with a waiting hall covering an area of 1560 square meters. While the second B building’s main body is divided into two layers, with space for 20 buses in total. The Ticket Hall is directly connected with the Metro Line 2, 3, 9, and designed a daily transportation capacity of 25000 passengers.
