The St. Regis Tianjin, The Astor Hotel, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Tianjin, The Westin Tianjin, Sheraton Tianjin Hotel and Sheraton Tianjin Binhai Hotel, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., recently hosted a cluster event for Starwood Careers Day, an Asia Pacific-wide effort aimed at attracting passionate individuals to explore a range of employment opportunities within Starwood Asia Pacific. Held on March 21st, 2014, the management teams from 5 Starwood hotels gathered in The St.Regis Tianjin, and GMs from these hotels kicked off the event by knocking the gong. It attracted over 300 passionate candidates on the day.

The Starwood Careers Day kicks start the division’s goal to fill over 25,000 positions at all levels and functions by the end of 2014. 5 Tianjin Starwood Hotels were part of more than 120 locations across key cities including Bangkok, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, New Delhi, Seoul, and Kuala Lumpur that hostedStarwood Careers Day.
The enthusiastic response to the Tianjin China event puts Starwood Hotels & Resorts on a strong footing to continue its aggressive growth across Asia Pacific. Starwood Asia Pacific division currently operates over 260 hotels, with an additional 200 hotels in the pipeline. Recently, the company announced it is on track to open over 30 hotels in the region in 2014 – an average of one hotel every 12 days. As the fastest growing division, Starwood Asia Pacific employs over 73,000 associates, nearly half of all Starwood associates worldwide.
