The green health code issued to tourists entering China will gradually be replaced by the blue one. The Chinese Embassy in the American, Singapore, and the UAE has begun issuing blue health codes.
For the health code, the “blue code ”status will be introduced. Passengers will received a“blue code”when all their test results excluding the 12-hour antigen test are verified. Before boarding, passengers will be required to present a negative result of antigen teston top of “blue code”. “Green code” will be issued less often, and those issued are still valid. Passengers holding a “green code” can still be accepted for boarding.
The length of centralized quarantine for people entering China from Xiamen has been shortened from 14 days to 10 days. Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Dalian, Suzhou, Qingdao, and Ningbo may also follow the similar quarantine policy in the future.
Starting from March 28, passengers flying from the UK to China need to take their last PCR test within 12 hours before departure (the previous requirement was within 48 hours.)
To ensure you get the Health Code, please submit your test reports at least 3 hours before your flight leaves. If your flight takes off before 12 noon, please submit the reports before 9pm on the day before departure.
Starting from April 1, passengers from the United States to China (whether vaccinated or not) are required to take an additional Antigen test at designated institutions after 12:00 noon on the day before departure. For example, if your departure time is April 10, you will need to undergo the Antigen test after 12:00 noon on April 9.
