Tianjin reported 2 new asymptomatic cases on May 12 and 13, according to the municipal COVID-19 prevention and control headquarters.
The patient is a 37-year-old worker who came back from Beijing. On May 11, he drove from Beijing Daxing to Tianjin to work on road construction. On the afternoon of the 11th, the Tianjin CDC received a notification from the Beijing Municipal Co-investigation that the person was a close contact with a positive infected person in Beijing, and was immediately transferred to a centralized isolation point in Wuqing District. He was tested positive on March 12.

The other patient is a 30-year-old woman who lives in Wuqing District, asymptomatic case. She was discovered among people in high risk and tested positive on March 12.
