The Chinese mainland on Thursday reported 312 confirmed local COVID-19 cases, of which 227 were in Shanghai, the National Health Commission said on Friday.
 

Yesterday also saw 2,140 local asymptomatic infections.
 

Shanghai reported 227 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, 1,869 local asymptomatic infections, two imported asymptomatic infections and two deaths on Thursday, said the Shanghai Health Commission on Friday morning.
 

Of all the local infections, 167 confirmed patients were previously asymptomatic infections. Another 60 confirmed patients and 1,865 asymptomatic cases were detected during central quarantine.
 

本土312 + 2140！

今早，国家卫健委通报：5月12日0—24时，31个省（自治区、直辖市）和新疆生产建设兵团报告新增确诊病例331例，其中本土病例312例。新增死亡病例2例，均为本土病例，在上海。新增无症状感染者2201例，其中本土2140例。
 

5月12日，北京本土新增42例确诊病例和8例无症状感染者，其中10例确诊病例和2例无症状感染者均来自海淀区福华鸿源酒店。今起，北京12区连续3天开展核酸筛查，倡导居家办公和休息。河北新增5例无症状感染者。
 

上海12日本土新增227例确诊病例和1869例无症状感染者，新增本土死亡2例。截至目前，上海本次疫情共有死亡病例567例。昨天，吉林本土新增阳性感染者，这次疫情以来，吉林首次实现本土零新增。
