The Chinese mainland on Tuesday reported 227 locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases, of which 96 were in Shanghai, according to the National Health Commission's report on Wednesday.
 

Yesterday also saw 1,000 local asymptomatic infections.
 

Shanghai reported 96 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, 759 local asymptomatic infections, one imported case, one imported asymptomatic infection and three deaths on Tuesday, said the Shanghai Health Commission on Wednesday morning.
 

本土新增227+1000!

今早，国家卫健委通报：5月17日0—24时，31个省（自治区、直辖市）和新疆生产建设兵团报告新增确诊病例240例，其中本土病例227例（上海96例，北京52例，四川49例，天津16例，吉林9例，河南3例，江苏1例，青海1例）。含79例由无症状感染者转为确诊病例（上海56例，天津10例，北京9例，四川2例，吉林1例，河南1例）。新增死亡病例3例，均为本土病例，均在上海。新增无症状感染者1065例，其中本土1000例（上海759例，四川152例，天津39例，北京17例，安徽15例，河南8例，吉林3例，江苏3例，辽宁1例，浙江1例，湖北1例，广东1例）。
 

5月17日，北京本土新增52例确诊病例和17例无症状感染者。北京4起聚集性疫情均有新增感染者，岳各庄市场疫情已致50人感染。
 

5月17日0-24时，天津新增16例本土新冠肺炎确诊病例（其中10例为无症状感染者转为确诊病例），新增39例本土无症状感染者。
 

上海17日本土新增96例确诊病例和759例无症状感染者，新增本土死亡3例。截至目前，上海本次疫情共有死亡病例579例。
