Tianjin will start a new round of testing of its 14 million residents on 19:00, July 18th to block the omicron variant. The city required citizens to keep activities “relatively static” to comply with the city’s second round of mass testing, the local government said in a statement.
 

7月18日在全市范围开展核酸检测

7月18日凌晨我市发生了本土疫情，为进一步贯彻落实“外防输入、内防反弹”总策略和“动态清零”总方针，切实保障人民群众生命安全和身体健康，严格排查新冠病毒感染者和潜在传播风险，市疫情防控指挥部决定，7月18日（星期一）在全市范围开展核酸检测。现通告如下：

一、7月18日（星期一）19时起，凡是居住在我市的群众，在当时居住地保持原地相对静止，按照各区防控指挥部的统一部署和街道（镇）、社区（村）的组织安排，有序到指定地点进行核酸检测，不落一户、不漏一人。核酸结果出来前要继续保持相对静止。采样后有就医等必要出行人员，要保持“两点一线”、原则上不乘坐公共交通工具。
