Tianjin will start a new round of testing of its 14 million residents on 6:00am, September 9th after new cases of the highly-transmissible omicron variant were detected.

Street and town residents who implement static management should remain stationary until the test results come out. The rest residents can go to work, schools and other necessary trips as normal.

明天，天津在全市范围开展核酸检测

目前，我市本轮本土疫情已得到较好控制，连续多日未在社会面检出阳性感染者，为进一步加强疫情社会面隐匿传播风险排查，巩固疫情防控工作成效，同时考虑最大限度不影响广大市民中秋假期生活秩序，市疫情防控指挥部决定，9月9日（星期五）在全市范围开展核酸检测。现通告如下：

一、9月9日（星期五）6时起，开展全域核酸检测。凡居住在我市的广大群众，采样前在居住地保持静止，按照各区防控指挥部统一部署和街道（镇）、社区（村）组织安排，有序到指定地点进行核酸检测，不落一户、不漏一人。实行静态管理的街镇居民，在核酸检测结果出来之前要保持原地静止。其他区域参加完筛查采样人员可正常上班、上课等必要出行。
