As large and good-quality projects gathered faster, this year, Binhai New Area has had a synchronized and rapid growth in contractual and actually-used foreign and inland associated enterprise investment. Yesterday, our reporter learnt from the Commerce Committee of Binhai New Area that, from January to October this year, the area accumulated a contractual foreign investment of 10.923 billion US Dollars, with a year-on-year growth of 9.47% and accounting for 77.7% of the contractual foreign investment of Tianjin; the accumulated actually-used foreign investment reached 6.464 billion US Dollars, with a year-on-year growth of 18.51% and accounting for 62.58% of the actually-used foreign investment of Tianjin.
Moreover, 459 projects in total were invested by the investment attracted by inland associated enterprises, with an actual investment of RMB 38.168 billion yuan and a year-on-year growth of 33.43%.
As far as we know, this year, Binhai New Area has put more emphasis on attracting investment and has attracted some industrial projects to settle in the area, covering the industries of high-end manufacturing, finance, insurance, tourism, logistics, and headquarters economy.
At the same time, Binhai New Area also kept expending project sources and held more than 10 marketing events in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Shanghai and Guangzhou to attract investment.
Moreover, Binhai New Area has also taken an active part in some important investment attraction events like Xiamen Fair for Investment and Trade and Tianjin Fair for Investment and Trade and expended the notability of the new area effectively and attracted more investors to visit the area for investigations before investment.
In the October that just passed, 32 enterprises invested by foreign investors were established, with a contractual foreign investment of 1.128 billion US Dollars and a year-on-year growth of 11.28%, taking up 77.77% of the total contractual foreign investment of Tianjin.
Besides, the actually-used foreign capitals reached 552 million US Dollars, with a year-on-year growth of 5.04%, taking up 66.84% of the total actually-used foreign investment. 55 projects were funded with domestic investment and the actual investment amount reached RMB 3.653 billion yuan.
