Aug. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Toshiba Corp. intends to form a joint venture in China that will make small and midsize LCDs for devices such as cellular telephones, Nikkei English News reported without saying how it obtained the information.
The joint venture may start operations in the first half of 2010, Nikkei said. Toshiba will particpate in the venture with Greentech Group Ltd. (Heyuan) and a Hong Kong investment firm, Nikkei said.
